"Who? Who gave you this information!?" she growled.

Bai Ning froze again and, after a moment of silence, released Xuan Kun and said, "My apologies. I got a little too excited after learning of the information. You're right. This individual likely has connections with the Immortal Monarch to have such valuable information. I almost made a rash judgment there."
Xuan Kun sighed in relief and said, "Thank you for your understanding. Although I cannot reveal this individual's information to you, I can speak with him and see if he would be willing to meet you."
Bai Ning's eyes flickered after hearing this, and immediately nodded, "Please do! I must speak with this individual, no matter what! If there's anything I can do that would increase the chances of meeting him, let me know!"

"She wants to meet me, huh?" Yuan didn't immediately give an answer.
"She said she's willing to share information on the Immortal Monarch if you agree to meet with her. Since she's from an Immortal Clan, her information would undoubtedly be valuable."
Yuan pondered for a moment before nodding his head, "Sure, I'll go meet with her."
"Thank you!" Xuan Kun bowed to him, feeling relieved.
Xi Meili placed the scroll in her hands down and asked through divine sense, "Should I come with you?"
"No, I can speak with her alone. She might also recognize you." Yuan said.
"Alright." Xi Meili nodded.
Yuan left the room while Xi Meili continued to read the scrolls.

The moment Bai Ning saw Yuan, she raised an eyebrow. She didn't recognize Yuan but felt like they had met somewhere.
"Hello, I am Bai Ning of the Heavenly White Tiger Clan. How should I address you?" Knowing that he might be connected to the Immortal Monarch, Bai Ning spoke to him in a respectful tone.
"Yuan," he said.
"I heard you wanted to speak with me. What is this about?" he then asked.
"I heard from Xuan Kun here that you were the one who told him the Immortal Monarch is alive. If you don't mind me asking, how did you acquire this information? I will share with you everything I know about the Immortal Monarch. In case you don't know, the Heavenly White Tiger God, our ancestor, was one of the Nine Divine Supremes that followed the Immortal Monarch, so we know more than most."
"I don't mind telling you, but can you tell me what you plan on doing with that information first?" Yuan said.
"What I plan on doing…?" Bai Ning raised an eyebrow, as she hadn't thought about it yet.
"I-if the Immortal Monarch is truly alive, I want to meet him…" she responded in a low voice after a moment of silence.
"And what are you going to do once you meet him?" Yuan continued to ask.
"I will serve him just as the Nine Divine Supreme had! That is my dream!" she answered with a serious expression on her face.
"And what if he refuses?"
"That's…" Bai Ning was left speechless.
"I haven't thought that far, but I will not give up even if it's the last thing I do!"
Yuan remained silent for a moment before speaking, "If you want to meet the Immortal Monarch that badly, I can let you meet him."
