“Zhao Zhan,” Fang Tianliu hurriedly interrupted Zhao Zhan’s words, “I still have some matters to attend to, I’ll be leaving first.”
Zhao Zhan didn’t say anything to stop him. He shook his head and quickly followed him home to find Yue Jiaojiao. He was confused and didn’t know what Fang Tianliu was doing.

“Zhao Zhan, is Madam Qin back?”
Yue Jiaojiao sat lazily by the bed, playing with Zhao Nian. When she saw Zhao Zhan return, she poked the silly Zhao Nian. “Let your father play with you.”
Zhao Zhan went to wash his hands first before walking to his lover.
He completely ignored his son who was lying on the bed. He first looked at Yue Jiaojiao carefully, then took out a beautiful porcelain box from his arms and placed it in Yue Jiaojiao’s palm. “I saw this in town today.”
It was a white porcelain box with pink-blue flower petals on it.
Yue Jiaojiao lowered her eyes and opened the box. A light and elegant fragrance rushed into her heart. “What is this?”
“I met a border merchant on the street today. This thing can be applied to the end of your hair. I think you’ll like it.”
As Zhao Zhan spoke, his fingertips landed on the box. He then turned around and walked behind Yue Jiaojiao. “I’ll help you apply it.”
His lover’s hair was black and shiny. The length reached down to her waist.
She had never liked those cumbersome hairstyles and always tied her hair into a loose braid.
Zhao Zhan gently held up the end of her hair, and then gently rubbed it with his fingertips.

When the time comes, Zhao Zhan planned on hiring a nanny so that Jiaojiao would get to rest and have more time to herself.
