Chapter 270 Crystal Coffin
Qin Yunuan watched the black line starting to move through her veins, like a snake in her body. Leng Changxi knew that the black line was the poisonous worm that had been planted in Qin Yunuan’s body. It had grown from the size of sesame to this big.
Qin Yunuan was shaking more and more drastically. Even with the Duanlong gate in between, Leng Changxi could still hear the fighting on the outside, with Chen Jingrui’s calm orders in between.
“I’ll carry you there.” Leng Changxi held the freezing cold Qin Yunuan, who was about to pass out, in his arms and walked along the edge of the rock platform. Soon, they saw a rock pavilion. From this angle, they could clearly see the body in the crystal coffin. It was a pretty and elegant woman. She still looked like that she was in her twenties. No one could have imagined that such a weak and lovely woman was the one who changed the world.
For some reason, the unintentional glance at the crystal coffin made Leng Changxi felt chilly.
“Nuan, lie down first, I’ll come up with a way.” Leng Changxi wanted to lay Qin Yunuan down in the middle of the rock pavilion, but Qin Yunuan held on to Leng Changxi’s neck tight and leant towards Leng Changxi that he couldn’t get away from her.
Qin Yunuan was feeling cold. Terribly cold. She felt that Leng Changxi was like fire to her, and she craved for the warmth on his body.
“Nuan?” Leng Changxi called her gently, but it only made Qin Yunuan crave for his body even more. Qin Yunuan’s hands were reaching out for Leng Changxi’s chest, where there was even more warmth.
“Changxi, I’m cold, very, very cold.” Qin Yunuan was starting to become unconscious, as she said that repeatedly. The poison in Qin Yunuan was the coldest poison, which made her feel like her veins were all frozen.
Leng Changxi was thinking about the balance of yin-yang that A Mo told him earlier. If the coldest blood could draw the poison out, could the warmest blood kill the poison?
Leng Changxi didn’t have time to hesitate anymore. He cut his own finger with the sharp tip of his spear. Before he reached out, Qin Yunuan had already sucked his fingertip tight, licking it over and over again. She was like a baby longing for its mother’s milk. Leng Changxi’s blood made her felt comfortable and warm.
“Nuan, are you okay?” Qin Yunuan’s action made Leng Changxi scared.
However, the luring voice triggered Qin Yunuan’s urge even more. Suddenly, Qin Yunuan pushed Leng Changxi against the floor and dominantly sat on his groin. She leant forward and held Leng Changxi’s collar, and said with a seductive voice, “Changxi, I’m so cold. Hold me tight.” As she said that, she quickly untied Leng Changxi’s clothes. Soon, his pounding chest was exposed in the air. Qin Yunuan got all over him, kissing Leng Changxi’s neck and lips, and every inch of him.
Leng Changxi wanted to push Qin Yunuan away. Even though Qin Yunuan’s actions had tickled him so much that he couldn’t hold himself back, but his sanity reminded him that it was a moment of life and death, that he couldn’t touch Qin Yunuan now.
However, Qin Yunuan couldn’t care about it anymore. The poison had controlled her. She was longing for the warmth of Leng Changxi, just like gamblers longing for the sound of rolling dice.
Suddenly, Leng Changxi seemed to remember something. When he was young, Prince Ning hired the best masters to teach him Kung Fu. He once heard a travelling master talking about a practice called the balancing of yin-yang, which is done through a man and a woman’s combination. This could improve the level of their training, but it had strict requirements on the physical conditions of both of them. As soon as the master saw Leng Changxi’s condition, even though he didn’t point it out, he said that it was hard for Leng Changxi to find a suitable woman to practice that with him for life with his body conditions.
Thinking of which, if Leng Changxi had the warmest blood, as A Mo said, and now that Qin Yunuan had the coldest poison in her, which made her own the coldest blood condition. It made that practice possible.
Thinking of which, there was hope in Leng Changxi’s heart.
Right then, Qin Yunuan was already removing Leng Changxi’s pants. The heat in his groin was just what Qin Yunuan desired for. She was like a leech, asking for more and more.
“Nuan?” Leng Changxi suddenly held Qin Yunuan.
“Huh?” Qin Yunuan replied with her last bit of sanity.
“I’ll save you.” Leng Changxi said firmly. “I’ll definitely save you.” After saying that, Leng Changxi leant forward and got on top of Qin Yunuan. Qin Yunuan’s face had turned red because of the coldness in her, which made Leng Changxi love her even more.
Right then, Leng Changxi focused all his Qi and controlled the Qi to move around his body. His hands slowly reached out for Qin Yunuan’s collar. He kissed Qin Yunuan’s forehead and said, “Nuan, I will save you.” Then he reached his hands downwards.
At that moment, they made out in the rock pavilion. Leng Changxi’s sweat was first boiled on his skin and then froze on Qin Yunuan’s wrist. It was a mixture of ice and fire, strange, yet dangerous.
After a while, the person in Leng Changxi’s arms gradually calmed down, and the pounding of her chest was replaced with much slower and steadier panting. Leng Changxi held Qin Yunuan and turned her around, as he gently put on the clothes for Qin Yunuan. When he touched Qin Yunuan’s smooth shoulder, Leng Changxi found that Qin Yunuan was actually much warmer than before. Even though she was still feeling chilly, as they were in a rock chamber after all, it was naturally cold.
“Are you feeling better?” Leng Changxi held Qin Yunuan and sat up. He carefully held Qin Yunuan in his arms, as if he was protecting a precious treasure.
Qin Yunuan moved her trembling lips and said something, but her voice was too soft that even Leng Changxi couldn’t hear her.
Leng Changxi looked at Qin Yunuan’s arm, in search of the black line. He thought that the black line would appear, but to his disappointment, it was still there on her fine wrist. What was different from before was that it was no longer growing nor moving, as if it was dead.
Leng Changxi frowned. It disappointed him somehow. He tried to calm himself down with Qi but surprisingly found that his inner Qi was much stronger than before. It was some improvement that others could only get through years of training, but he achieved it in just about half an hour.
Could it be that the practice actually worked?
Leng Changxi reached out to test the pulse of Qin Yunuan. To his surprise, Qin Yunuan had grown a hint of inner Qi herself. Even though it was nearly unnoticeable, but it was steady and pure.
Right then, Qin Yunuan returned to her consciousness. She was tortured by the coldest poison and Leng Changxi’s passion, so she was very weak at the moment, looking even prettier than usual.
“I’m much better.” Qin Yunuan looked at Leng Changxi with her big eyes, “Really. I’m much better.”
Leng Changxi held Qin Yunuan in his arms and muttered, “I know, I know it all.”
After resting a while, Qin Yunuan stood up. Just when she was about to stretch herself, she found that she was feeling different. It felt like she could breathe better and as if her skin condition was better too.
“What happened?” Qin Yunuan looked at her fingers, and then raised her head to see that Leng Changxi’s attention was all on the crystal coffin on the other side.
“What’s wrong?” Qin Yunuan walked forward and looked along Leng Changxi’s glance. The woman in the crystal coffin was gentle and calm. Under the protection of such a classy coffin, it made her look like that she was just asleep.
However, it would make people feel chilly as they looked at her, and it made people uneasy to look at her for a long time.
Looking at Leng Changxi’s look, Qin Yunuan knew that he must be feeling the same. But why?
Suddenly Leng Changxi moved. After taking a dozen steps to the left, he took another few steps to the right. Then, he frowned.
Qin Yunuan didn’t get it, but she followed what he did. To her surprise, she found that the biggest problem of that woman was that no matter which direction you looked at her, you felt like she was facing you. Even though her eyes were shut, you felt like that she could open her eyes and look at you at any time.
“How could it be?” Qin Yunuan muttered.
“Stay here.” Leng Changxi turned around and said to Qin Yunuan, “I’ll go take a look.”
“Changxi,” Qin Yunuan held Leng Changxi’s arms and said, “Be careful.”
After all, this was Chen Wan’s tomb. As a godlike being, Chen Wan’s wisdom was daunting. She invented so many weird but powerful things, which was never seen in the world before. No one could be sure that there were no traps in the crystal coffin.
Leng Changxi took a deep breath, took a few steps back, applied his light skills and leaped towards the platform a few meters away. Apart from Leng Changxi, who had the best light skills in Qi, the only one who could jump so far must be A Mo who served Chen Wan’s corpse every day.
The platform with the crystal coffin was much bigger than they’ve imagined. Apart from the crystal coffin in the center of it, it could hold a dozen people. Leng Changxi landed stably and gestured towards Qin Yunuan. Then, he bowed towards Chen Wan and said, “I’m sorry to disturb you.” Then, he stepped on the stairs next to the crystal coffin. The coffin wasn’t covered, so Leng Changxi could clearly see the person in the coffin. However, as soon as he saw what was inside, Leng Changxi was shocked.
