Fu Hee comforted Jia Li and Fu Hua before leaving. She said she would return later in the evening with their dinner.

”I’m fine, daddy,” Jasmine replied.
”Do you want to eat anything? Tell me, grandma will prepare it for you,” Fu Hee said to her.
Jasmine thought for a while before replying, “Ice cream.”
Everyone laughed before Fu Hee responded to her, “Once you leave this place, grandma will prepare ice cream of different flavors for you. For now, I’m going to prepare a yummy porridge for you.”
”Thank you,” Jasmine replied cheerfully.
Later, Fu Hua went to call the doctor to come and check on Jasmine.
After checking on her, she said she was fine but still had to be under observation because the pain relief drug in her drip, was what was keeping her from experiencing pain.
The doctor told them and the nurse she came with what to look out for during the next 24 hours, before leaving.
In the evening, Fu Hee did return with their dinner and the special porridge she prepared for Jasmine, which was approved by the doctor.
The little girl needed to eat something simple without lots of calories etc.
Later at night, Jia Li and Fu Hua tucked Jasmine in after reading a bedtime story to her. They didn’t need any servant to help them, because they wanted to do it alone.
After tucking Jasmine in, Fu Hua helped Jia Li to lay on the extra bed brought into the room, while he sat on the couch to watch over them. Obviously, the couch would have to be his bed for the night.
The next day, Shi Qiao heard what happened in the Fu family and came over, and he ended up not leaving with Meixu that day.
At the hospital, Daiyu heard about what happened to Jasmine from YingPei and came to visit as her godmother although, YingPei didn’t give her the full gist.
He only told her that she had food poisoning from eating two wrong food together.
