Come back to Me, My Ex-Wife Chapter 1 Awkward Encounter

When it was about to reach midnight, Margery Byrne leaned weakly against the wall of the corridor of a
bar while coughing fiercely. She felt sharp pain in her head while her throat felt like burning. She had an
urge to retch but she failed to throw up anything.

She was almost knocked down after gulping a few bottles of black beer continuously. However, she still
had to go into the bar again and managed to entertain those guys after relaxing a bit.

Her clinic would go bankrupt if she failed to get the specific medicine.

She had no way to support Andrew, her loving son, if she was facing financial challenge.

Margery raised her hands to rub against her exhausted face weakly. She sighed and then turned
around. Suddenly, she saw the oily and ugly face of a chubby old man, who was wearing a fake smile.

"Mr. Chang, now you have seen the contract and you were also being nicely treated. What do you think
about the deal?"

"Well, I don't think simply drinking would be enough!" While speaking, that man named Mr. Chang
stared at the fair skin revealed beneath her collar. He reached out his hand to touch her shoulder.
Suddenly, his greasy eyes looked lustful, "Come on, since we are here for the deal, there is no need to
dress so much. After all, I am going to be your partner, right? We should be quite familiar with each
other."

"Mr. Chang, please stop joking." Margery grabbed her phone hard. She could barely maintain her
smile.

"What? Ms. Bryne, you didn't catch my words? Or is it because you are still reluctant to accept the
deal? Come on, every one of us knows what is the hidden rule of making a deal, right?" Mr. Chang let
out a burst of disgusting laughter. He slowly stroked her shoulder and then went downwards to her



collarbone, "We are not only going to be commercial partners, but also partners on the bed, right? Oh,
by the way, I have never banged such an attractive and well-educated female doctor just like you. It
must be quite intoxicating! Come on, girl, I can give you whatever you want if you could please me. Not
to mention that you only ask for some medicine."

"Mr. Chang, stop!"

Margery stepped aside to dodge his disgusting hands and frowned.

Though she was aware that this guy was known as an obscene pervert, she still had to please him for
the sake of Andrew, who was badly in need of medical fee.

"Come on, I know what you want."

Mr. Chang smiled obscenely and suddenly pinned her against the wall.

He immediately ripped off the shirt beneath her jacket.

Her fair skin shining under the disco light seemed to turn him on.

"Come on, beauty, spread your legs! I can't wait!"

"Don't touch me! No!"

Margery was pinned down so hard that she could hardly breathe. She could only stare at him
desperately, who was getting closer and closer with his smelly lips. The disgusting breath emitted from
his mouth really made her despairing.

Suddenly, she heard a girl nearby calling in a soft tone, "Welcome, Mr. Barrett."

She could tell that the voice just came from behind.



Mr. Barrett?!

Her heart was beating faster when she heard his name. She couldn't help turning her head to look at
him.

There came a man dressing in a simple shirt and black pants, who looked eye-catching and charming
while smoking. He stepped forward casually while holding a cigarette between his slender fingers. He
looked emotionless but mysterious.

Leaning against his chest, Pansy Gibson, the most popular movie star, was staring at him infatuatedly,
whose face was attractive and delicate.

Pansy looked pure and innocent. Though she just engaged in the industry for only three years, she
turned to be the most popular movie star from a mere nobody. So there had been gossips about her
that she must be largely supported by a big shot with great financial aid.

However, Margery had never expected that it was her nominal husband who actually supported Pansy
behind her back.

What a nice disguise!

Though they had been married for three years, Margery barely met him for a few times. But she didn't
expect that they would bump into each other in such an awkward place, especially when she was
pinned down by a disgusting old man while she was in disarray.

Margery could tell how embarrassed she was at this moment if there were a mirror in front of her.

She didn't want Golden Barrett to notice how awkward she was at this moment.



However, Golden happened to look at them. He stared at Margery with his cold eyes for a while. Then
he smiled and said indifferently, "Mr. Chang, are you sure you are going to kiss this ugly hag?"
