On the other end, Kathleen heard the answer she was expecting and clutched the cell phone in her
hand tightly in fury.

That b*tch, Tessa Reinhart. She already has a boyfriend but keeps stringing other men along! she
cursed silently, completely overlooking Mona.

When the call ended, Scott continued eating with Tessa and Mona. The atmosphere between them was

Tessa giggled as she knew that Nicholas was willing to spend money on her, and even though she
thought it was really sweet of him, she also had her principles that she wouldn’t set aside.

“I’m not married to you yet, and I can’t keep spending your money. Furthermore, my brother sends me
a monthly allowance, so I have money to spare.”

Nicholas disagreed with her words and said firmly, “You’re my future wife, and it’s only right that you
spend my money. No matter what, you’re not allowed to spend another man’s money!”

Coincidentally, Timothy came over because of work and overheard him saying that. Disgruntled, he
pushed open the door and burst in.

“Nicholas, how could you be so bossy? What do you mean by another man? I’m her younger brother!”
