on her behalf.

It was great that they were on her side, but that was just messing things up more! Daisie stood in the
corridor and sent a text to Nollace, who took a long time to reply.



Her heart dropped.

“Is he angry?’ Daisie immediately rushed to Taylorton.

She got out of the car and ran straight to the living room.

Nollace sat cross-legged on the couch, staring at his screen.His expression was neutral.He sipped his
coffee, looked at Daisie, and then paused.

“You're back early.” Daisie took a deep breath, walked forward, and closed his laptop.

“Nolly, don't trust what they're saying on the trending news!” Nollace was surprised.

He smiled after seeing how anxious she was.
