Around the time that Eisen was finished with the different clothes-items, the old man stepped back out of the Dungeon and then spent the rest of the time that he had for now until everyone was up to level his magic skills up some more. For now, he wanted to do his best with his Mana Doubles, summoning all three of them for just that. His Skill was at Level 99 by now, so it most likely wouldn't take too long until it finally ranked up.
And the things that Eisen made the three of them do looked somewhat ridiculous from the outside, trying to make them do a lot of different things at once. For example fist-fight with each other or throw each other further into the distance. Of course, Eisen also simulated some craftsmanship using them and mana-copies of his workstations, and barely fifteen minutes later, a notification popped up in front of Eisen.
[Mana Double reached Level 100 in Rank 2, Upgrading to Rank 3]
[Your Doubles can act out very simple tasks on their own]
[Due to Ranking-up your Mana Double Skill, you gained +1 INT and +1 WIS]
With a slight smile on his face, Eisen chose to immediately try this out while summoning the fourth Mana Double that he could now create, and then quickly gave them a command in the same form that he would command golems.
"Walk forward." Eisen told all of them, and swiftly, they quickly did so without hesitation. Until now, Eisen had to properly control each and every motion of their bodies consciously, and if he stopped doing that, the Doubles would also stop moving. He didn't seem to be able to give them commands more complicated then 'Keep moving that way' or 'Move your arm in that way'. It would help fill in a lot of the gaps that Eisen may be having in the control over these Doubles, and it would lower the load on his head immensely.
For now, this would help Eisen a lot, especially if he wanted to mass-produce items more easily. Whenever he tried to make the Doubles Copy his movement, whatever they made ended up pretty botched compared to what Eisen was making, and it was hard for them to actually use a lot of the techniques that Eisen was using, especially those connected to mana, because those still required conscious control of Eisen, which made him mess up with his own item a little.
But they would come in useful especially when it came to the construction of the printers now, at the very least the simple base parts.
And just while Eisen was checking if the Level-Up quest really was properly updated, the rest of the group came along from the Meeting room.
"Ah, good morning, everyone." Eisen told them with a smile on his face, and swiftly unsummoned his mana doubles while slowly spreading the mana that he was using on the mana doubles as far as he possible could to start copying the whole ship.
Xenia's ears started twitching for a moment again when she noticed the mana being moved around, but now that she knew that Eisen's copying wasn't really an issue, she didn't really say anything. Other than that, Jyuuk seemed to have started commanding the skeletons to start moving the ship again, while Kai, who was still clinging to his arm, slowly let go and scratched her cheek.
"Well, I guess this is a bye for now again..." She said with a sad expression, and Jyuuk looked at her confused, "What, you mean you're not coming along?" He asked her, and the Sea Dragon quickly shook her head.
"Yes, I'm not. Back then, you commanded me to stay here and protect this island. I didn't, and still don't, know why, but you said that only those that are the kin, whether through blood or conversation, of Dragons should be let through to the island... And even if I don't know the reason, I trust enough in you to know that it had to be a good one. If you don't remember it right now, I can't just abandon this role." Kai said with a slight, bitter smile on her face, and the Beastperson slowly scratched the back of his neck.
"Then I'll come back here every once in a while to keep you company. And if I should ever remember my reasons, it would be great if you could come with me, if those reasons were taken care of." The Monkey said with a smile on his lips, and Kai just swiftly slung her arms around his neck in a deep hug.
"Thank you..." She told him in a quite genuine tone, before she took a step back and held her hands together in front of her body, slightly bowing forward toward the group.
"And thank you to all of you as well. It was nice to have someone other than that Geezer to talk to for once." The Dragon chuckled, and slowly stepped over to the edge of the ship. "Then I'll see you on your way back." Kai said, before she pushed her body over the railing and dropped into the water, before she disappeared there without a trace.
"Now then... She was quite fascinating, wasn't she?" Eisen asked with a slight chuckle, before Jyuuk scratched the back of his neck with a nod. "Yeah, she was... It was nice to see her again..." The Beastperson admitted, and immediately, Eisen clapped his hands together to pull attention toward himself, so that Jyuuk couldn't even go down the path of why he said 'Again'. If he pulled any attention toward it, his 'Mind' would be reset, and he would feel as if everything was just completely a game again, at least for a little while.
"Well, for now, let's concentrate on the island ahead of us, shall we? We should get to the beach in a little while... How long will it take for us to get to the village from here?" Eisen asked as he turned toward the Paladin Half-Dragon at the back of the group, and he slowly stepped up toward the edge of the ship, still quite taken aback from what the 'Great Guard' was actually like.
After taking a proper look at the island in the distance, he just thought about it for a little while and then crossed his arms. "Maybe half a day, I would say. Not taking into account any enemies that we may be unable to avoid, that is." The Paladin explained to them, before Eisen slowly nodded his head with a smile on his face.
"I see... Well, that's not an issue. It should be more than just helpful to be able to level everyone here up a little more." Eisen pointed out, and then slowly turned toward Brody, the one he expected to be the closest to finishing his level-up quest.
"How far along are you, by the way?" He asked, and Brody seemed to open some information boxes first to check, and then smirked at the old man. "Just gotta rank up one of my skills once more. It's already close to Rank 4 though, so I might be able to get there by the time we get to the Village." The Demon-Orc pointed out, and the four Originals beside him looked at him quite jealously, although Eisen himself wasn't really that far away from it either. All the skills that he still had to rank up now were relatively close to ranking up, with the exception of his Crafter's Mind skill, which Eisen was trying to use for a lot of things constantly right now anyway.
For example, the things that he was scanning over the past few days were relatively easily made use of with that skill, making it possible for Eisen to mentally take the different structures apart and basically turn them into 'Mental Blueprints' for this. He might actually be able to make a small interface-item that would let Eisen transfer those mental blueprints over to the printers to let him print those and pass them around to some of the craftsmen that Komer would most likely hire for his company.
If things like the mass-production machines broke in any way, they had to know how to fix them, after all. And as long as Komer made sure to handle those kinds of things using contracts, it most likely wouldn't end up being an issue to let them see it, as long as they wouldn't pass this kind of thing around to just anyone.
Other than his Crafter's Mind skill, Eisen needed to work on a few other skills that he could probably level up relatively easily on his way back to the mainland inside of the dungeon, for example his more 'Physical' crafting skills, such as Blacksmithing, Tailoring, or Leatherworking, as well as skills that generally needed some more space to work with, such as Farming, Mining or Masonry.
It would probably still take a few more days until he was able to actually finish the quest, though, but at the very least it didn't have a condition such as becoming a 'Champion III' this time around. The 'Champion II' condition was probably something that was just a thing because of the timing of his first level-up quest overlapping with Bol's test.
"Well, if you should manage to get to Level 200 before we're at the village, I think you should try and go ahead and hunt a little bit." Eisen ended up saying to the Demon-Orc, who just crossed his arms with a knowing smirk, "You're just saying that because you want Draconic Materials, aren't you?" He asked the old man, who ended up just chuckling and moving his fingers through his beard.
"Who knows? Maybe I do, maybe I don't. I definitely won't say no if I'm offered some." Eisen replied with a wink, and Brody just laughed while nodding his head.
"Sure, sure, I'll get you some stuff to work with. By the way, we still have the venom from the egg, don't we? Any plans for that?" Brody asked him, and Eisen slowly nodded his head. "Oh, yeah, actually. I wanted to first try and split the dissolved flesh from the actual venom parts, but I had a few issues figuring out which parts belong to which, so Jyuuk's been helping me out and took a look at it the best he could. When I can actually split it up properly, there's a potion I heard about that I want to try out with it." The old man explained with a smirk, and Evalia raised her eyebrows surprised,
"You really mean a 'Potion', not a 'Poison', do you?" She asked him, and Eisen looked at her with a silent smile, not responding to her question, before turning back around toward the island, which had now gotten close enough for the group to properly set off and step down onto it. "Well, anyway, let's just get going now. If it takes about half a day, we should hurry up. If the path isn't too troublesome, we should take the carriage this time, might speed it up a little." Eisen suggested, before he turned toward the Half-Dragon Paladin to see if he had anything to say against that idea, and when Eisen could see that he didn't, the old man happily made his way to where the carriage was kept and pulled it up to the main deck with Cabarum's help.
Swiftly, the group brought the carriage to the island when the ship finally came to a halt, and everyone beside Eisen, the Half-Dragon Paladin, and a select few others made their way into the dungeon via Fafnir's gate placed inside of the carriage.
"Alright, from here, where do we need to go?" Eisen asked as he shrunk down, happy that he didn't need to change his clothes for that anymore, and the Paladin looked around while sitting down on the front bench of the carriage next to Eisen, before pointing forward toward a small path amongst the trees.
"The best start should be over there."
