Chapter 90: The Exam
Liang Min held onto her nose and retreated. She then gritted through her teeth, “You savage students! It’s fortunate that you are no longer my responsibility!”
Then, she coldly hissed and walked away.
Yang Lianfeng gave everyone a grin and did not comment.
He flipped open the textbook, “Let’s start our lesson...”
After Yang Lianfeng’s class, Luo Chen put a stack of notebooks on Qiao Qing’s desk.
“Qingqing, you should take a look at Lin Xiyan’s notes. She took them with so much detail and it’s easy to understand. Even though I haven’t finished looking through them, I already find it easier to solve exam questions.”
Seeing that Qiao Qing did nothing about it, he continued, “I have read through these ones. It’s actually helpful.”
Only then did Qiao Qing take the notes, “How are your baths going?”
Luo Chen answered, “At first, it hurt a little. But it’s much better now. Wait, just when will you start teaching me ancient martial art?”
“After the entrance exams.”
“Alright!”
Now that Qiao Qing had promised him, Luo Chen’s face blossomed into a flower.
Just then, Lin Xiyan from the side slipped over a piece of A4 paper.
“Here’s a summary of commonly seen exam questions. I’m not sure if you’d find this useful. Do you want to take a look?”
Qiao Qing looked down. Not only were there questions listed, there were also logic and solutions noted down. It was obvious that a lot of effort went into these notes.
“Thanks.” She took it and pushed it forward to Luo Chen, “Read this over quickly. When you’re done, I’ll take a look.”
She talked as if she was actually going to look it over.
Lin Xiyan’s lips curled up. Her nervousness immediately vanished.
Before long, Monday had come around.
Qiao Qing casually walked her way to the examination center with a carbon pencil, a 2B pen, and her school identification.
The moment she arrived, she garnered much attention.
As she walked her way to her seat, she heard many students whisper about her.
Without exceptions, they were all talking about how she planned on scoring first on this exam.
It seemed like that irrational statement she made during the parent-teacher meeting had spread all around the school. Did someone plan for this to happen or did this happen naturally? Who knows.
Luo Chen, who sat in the last row by the wall, slammed his desk, “What are you all being loud about? It’s the last practice exam and you all have the heart to talk behind someone’s back?”
Luo Chen was a notable handsome delinquent in school, so naturally, his words carried its weight.
After his loud statement, the entire exam center silenced.
Because the seating chart was made based on the ranking of last exam results, Qiao Qing sat right in front of Luo Chen.
The moment Qiao Qing sat down, she threw her carbon pencil, 2B pen, and ID on her desk, then began to play on her phone.
Luo Chen tugged at her arm, “Qingqing, this is all you brought? Did you forget to bring an eraser and refills for your pen?”
Qiao Qing answered, “Four sheets of exam questions. One pen is enough.”
“What about an eraser? You can cross off long answers with your pen, but what if you screw up on the multiple questions’ bubble sheets?”
He truly believed that Qiao Qing had forgotten to bring an eraser so he broke his own eraser in half and placed half on her desk.
“I only brought one myself. Let’s just each use half.”
Qiao Qing turned her head to look at the eraser. It looked like it had been bitten by dogs. Pursing her lips, she nodded and said, “okay.”
The morning exam was literature. Since this exam center hosted only the worst students, the three supervisors kept on walking around and gave nobody the chance to cheat.
The electronic clock in front displayed the ever changing time.
Some people flipped through the exam booklets in insane speed while others took their sweet time. As the exam went on, more and more sighs flooded the room.
When the exam was over and the bell rang, the teacher took the tests away. Then, the exam center exploded into chaos.
“****! Was that exam designed for humans?”
