Yan Ziyuan had yet to recover from the fright, so she tried to compose herself before trying to run towards the boat: “ZHUER!”
Her name’s maid was precisely Zhuer, who right now was burning on that small boat. However, she couldn’t be saved anymore as the fire was too strong.
Even though they had a master and servant relationship, but in truth they were like sisters. Therefore Yan Ziyuan’s eyes reddened as she watched her lose her life.
She tried to rush towards the boat, “Be careful!” Ye Feng stopped her, and calmly said: “She is already dead. Restrain your grief.”
Yan Ziyuan’s fury was breaking out, so she hit his hand: “WHAT DID YOU DO?! WHY DID YOU PREPARE THIS KIND OF BOAT???”
Since she felt heartbroken, she lost her normal composure.
“PAH!” a slap landed on Ye Feng’s face. Yan Ziyuan’s hand trembled for the numbness and was dumbfounded, as she didn’t expect to really slap him: “You–!”
A red mark was left on Ye Feng’s face, but he was firm like a mountain, his voice was unwavering as he apologized: “It is this subordinate’s fault.” However, his hand never moved away from her.
Yan Ziyuan didn’t want him to pull her, but she couldn’t get rid of him, so nearly stomped her feet from the anger: “BASTARD! WHY ARE YOU HOLDING ME BACK?! LET GO!!”
“Miss Yan, forgive me.” Ye Feng didn’t do as she wished, and instead pulled her even closer to him.

Seeing such a scene, everyone frowned, feeling that this Shadow Guard was too shameful… he would even drag his master’s hand…
Gu Ziyan also commented: “Ye Feng, she is your master, and you are the servant. It is too indecorous for you to touch her like this…”
However, Ye Feng turned a deaf ear to other people’s reprimands. He just looked around, while pursing his eyebrows.
The people also did the same, and observed their surroundings. Someone abruptly exclaimed with an amazed tone: “What?! Where are we??!!!”
“So much fog!”
“Is—Is that a barren island?!!”
“How did we reach here??! No! Not right! This is not the lake, because that lake doesn’t have any islands…”
They didn’t know when, but the fog has covered the sky and the landscape. People could only discern a vague silhouette of an island far away.
What happened!??
They looked at each other and an indefinite feeling rose in their hearts.
A lively ship has now become a ghostly one. Everywhere was gloomy, and the lanterns on the mast looked indistinct. In the middle of the fog, they resembled the jack-o’-lanterns.
“How did it happen!?” some people asked with an unsettled expression.
“Big Brother Ziyan! I am scared!” Like a little bird, Rong Yan tightly leant on Gu Ziyan’s body.
“Let’s go to the cabin…” someone suggested while shivering, and took the lead in rushing inside the ship, as if it would seem safer.
“Big Brother Ziyan, let’s also follow them? And ask… And ask the Main Steward what happened?” Rong Yan proposed, while pulling Gu Ziyan’s arm tightly.
Gu Ziyan didn’t answer back, and instead his gaze lingered on Yan Ziyuan.
After being pulled by Ye Feng’s side, Yan Ziyuan’s face was colorless, but she finally calmed down. She also understood that the explosion had nothing to do with Ye Feng. It was just an accident, of which even Ye Feng didn’t calculate.
