Medical Genius's Unspeakable Marriage Chapter 824

You Crossed the Line

Immediately, the mysterious man’s expression changed as he turned around abruptly and moved his
right hand before a rope-like object flew out at the speed of light.

The person standing not far away behind him was Matthew.

Upon seeing that object flying toward him, Matthew didn’t dodge but reached out to seize it with his bare
hand. The object was slimy and kept moving around before it entangled itself onto his wrist.

Right then, Matthew could finally see that the man had thrown a red snake toward him. Although he
had his hands on the snake’s body, he couldn’t manage to crush it by its heart.

As so, the snake managed to curl around Matthew’s wrist before biting his arm while Matthew reacted
quickly and grabbed it by its heart, successfully paralyzing it.

At this moment, the figure turned around to reveal a man in his mid-forties. He had an odd look on his
face, and his gaze was dark.

Matthew frowned. “Who are you? Why are you rearing these centipedes here?”

Yet the man glanced at him disdainfully. “How dare you go against me, you ignorant fool? You’re going to
meet your demise today! Do you know that the red snake in your hand right now has been trained by me
for years? This red snake’s venom isn’t in its teeth but in its body, so you’re a deadman the moment you
touch the snake, and I’m not interested in talking to a man who is going to die!”

However, Matthew only chuckled coldly and flung the red snake to the ground.

“Do you think I look like I’m poisoned?”

Immediately, the man’s expression changed when he noticed Matthew was still able to breathe properly
while looking composed, and there weren’t many changes to his hands. Indeed, he didn’t look like he
was poisoned.

What on earth is happening?

The man knew most about the red snake’s venom, so he knew that others would surely die upon
touching it.

However, the young man in front of him survived even after killing the red snake, so what exactly was
happening right here?

“W-Who are you? Why are you going against me?” the man asked with a grim look on his face.

“I’m not trying to go against you, but you crossed the line! You should know that you can only rear
centipedes at places without any humans living nearby. Yet, you choose to rear it at the border of a city.
Do you know how many lives might be sacrificed if the centipedes go out of control?”

The man gritted his teeth. “Stop bullsh*tting and answer me! Who do you work for?”

Matthew replied, “I work for no one!”

Yet, the man stared at him for a moment before he chuckled coldly. “Do you really think that I’ll believe
you? Which clan do you belong to? Don’t blame me for being merciless if you still refuse to tell me!”

Matthew frowned. “Clan? Do you mean the 72 voodoo clans of Orleans?”

The man’s eyes widened. “Obviously? All 72 clan leaders of Orleans had come over from Thousand
Hills. Are you saying that you’re trying to go against me without even knowing anything?”

Immediately, Matthew’s face turned cold, as there was information regarding the voodoo clan in the jade
pendant.

Thousand Hills was a place in Orleans, and the 72 voodoo clans of Orleans were the 72 forces ruling
over Thousand Hills.

Each of the clans was extremely powerful, and some of them were close to each other, while others were
enemies among the 72 voodoo clans.

However, it was important to note that Orleanians seldom stepped foot out of Thousand Hills, and the
clan leaders of the 72 voodoo clans would never leave Thousand Hills.

With all the clan leaders from the 72 voodoo clans here, what is happening exactly?

While Matthew was deep in thought, the man quietly consumed a black item that looked like a cookie
before he chewed with a gruesome look on his face, as if he was in great pain.

Upon seeing that, Matthew had his face darkened. “Why are you fighting me using the five poisonous
insects?”

Right then, the man spat what he was chewing and gritted his teeth. “And you’re still saying that you’re
not working for the voodoo clans? Who else would know about the five poisonous insects besides
Orleanians? You shall die today!”

Right after, the man sat on the ground and crossed his legs before opening his mouth. Suddenly, a huge
rainbow centipede crawled out of his mouth!
