seemed very down in the dumps yesterday.”

“I didn’t say it was you,” teased Nicole.

Lulu’s face was flushed red, knowing Nicole was pushing the right buttons. “Stop teasing me or I’ll
ignore you.”

Nicole laughed cheerfully as Lulu became more embarrassed.

Soon, they reached the office. Nicole glanced at the pile of documents on her desk before snapping
back to reality. Lulu had also recovered and started to help Nicole sort out the documents before



starting to work.
